We are looking for a Farm Research Officer to join the Midlands team (office in Reading) on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal location for this role will be within commuting distance from the Reading office.
Your role as a Farm Research Officer involves visiting farms and collecting data. A strong applicant will have strong communication skills (oral and written), a head for numbers and enjoy working with data.
You will ideally also have a detailed knowledge of British agriculture, and the ability to appreciate the difficulties and issues faced by farmers and growers in the UK. The salary for this role is between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
